Top Three Reads and Savings Account

Shall I share about my Top Three reads...thus far...for 2021?

First, though, I am borrowing an idea I read about on Facebook; a lady placed $1 in a jar/container throughout the year for each book read...and, then, had a chunk of change to purchase new books for the new year.  How fun!  So far, $3 in my jar!

Now, for my Top Three Titles: (two from my TBR pile and two for book clubs):

  1. Someone Like You:  On the topic of embryo adoption, this novel takes the reader into the lives of two families who soon become more strongly connected with the main character learns she is not biologically related to her family of 20+ years.  Written by Karen Kingsbury, this one, too, falls within her genre style, again reaching her readers' expectations.
  2. Meg and Jo:  A retelling of Little Women...in modern times.  Very interesting, and I would enjoy reading Beth and Jo, the second in this series.  The author met with Lyon College Alumni Book Club.  Nice!
  3. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder:  Read for our high school's student book club and as one of the top five books for the Arkansas Teen Book Award  Very good!  Intense, who-did-it, great character development.
So far, a very good start to reading for 2021!
